About us
An independent pharmacy with Lexington roots
Pharvest Pharmacy was built on the belief that a pharmacy should feel like a neighbor: familiar, unhurried, and genuinely interested in the people it serves.
Our story
Pharvest Pharmacy opened on Sunset Boulevard with a simple purpose: to give Lexington a pharmacy where people are known, not processed. As an independent community pharmacy, we answer only to our patients. There is no corporate script telling us how long we may spend with you, no quota on questions answered, and no pressure to sell anything you do not need.
Over time, that approach has become our identity. We know the families who come in season after season, the doctors whose prescriptions cross our counter, and the small concerns that matter to the people in our community. That familiarity is not incidental; it is the point.
Meet Ken Jumper, Pharmacist-in-Charge
Ken Jumper is the Pharmacist-in-Charge at Pharvest Pharmacy and the person responsible for the quality and safety of everything that leaves our counter. Ken believes the most important tool a pharmacist has is a willingness to listen. He takes time to explain medications in plain language, to check that each prescription fits safely with what you already take, and to make sure you leave with your questions answered.
If you ever want a second look at a medication plan, or simply want someone to walk you through what your doctor prescribed and why, Ken and the team are glad to sit down with you.
What we value
Care before speed
We would rather take an extra minute to double-check than rush a prescription out the door.
Plain language
Health is complicated enough. We explain things clearly, without jargon and without judgment.
Trustworthiness
We handle your information and your health concerns with discretion, every time.
Community first
We live here, work here, and measure our success by the health of our neighbors.
We would like to meet you
Whether you are new to Lexington or simply looking for a pharmacy that treats you like a person, we invite you to stop by. Transfer a prescription, ask a question, or just say hello.
